I have been lucky to played a lot of both. I do prefer live over online to be honest.

The one advantage online does give us it the ability to play when we want to and at any cost we want to play. Over the years and since covid buy in have gone up drastically and in our area are few and far in between. The one game that plays on the weekend is a 3 hour drive away and the buy in is $500.00. A bit out of the common folks affordability i think.

Sadly in today's environment it is pretty much limited to online play.

For me, I think online poker is more viable, besides being able to play in the comfort of my home, I can open several screens to play at the same time, maximizing my profits.

I prefer Live. Its simply more exciting, but is also more profitable too. So whats not to love!!

The main reason is the enjoyment to be honest. I play to win and to improve, but it has to be something I'm enjoying or getting a kick out of, and playing live def ticks that box!!

Live is much much more profitable but usually requires a bigger bankroll to get started as live games will have bigger buy ins than those available online but overall I think it's more of a personal question and what you're looking to get out of it or where you feel most comfortable.

I prefer to be at my computer with multiple cash game tables open and a cup of tea in front of me, if I was looking to maximize EV I would be at my local casino with a $6 Red Bull in front of me and pretending the whale's joke was funny. Depends what you want conditions you feel are ideal for you.

I don't really have the opportunity to play live. That's why I play online. Online poker suits me perfectly, because I can play comfortably at home on the couch with beer, snacks and watching football :)

Live poker depends more on your bankroll and skill and in my opinion it is more predictable than online where miracles happen, but it is good in its own way.

Online poker allows players to enjoy their favorite game without leaving the comfort of their home.Physical interaction is the foundation of live poker, allowing players to observe non-verbal cues from opponents, such as nervous habits, facial expressions, and mannerisms. These cues can be valuable tools for making informed decisions and gaining a competitive advantage.

I only play online. For live play, you need much more free time, which unfortunately I don't have much of :)

I haven't played live poker yet) That's probably great!) Online - depersonalizes players, so we often make mistakes when underestimating our opponents)

I’d say it depends on your personal preference. Some people can’t enjoy it alone and need the live vibe at the table, while others just want to play a tournament without sitting across from 8 other players. For me, I prefer online games and maybe one live tournament a month.

Live poker, for sure! Why? Different emotions, really. Even at low limits, live poker cash games are always interesting and intense. In online poker, it can be compared to playing the Sunday Million at 10-15 level in terms of emotion.
