How many hands people here play in one year, approximately?

I bet nobody play that much that it takes away variance from their game. ;)

Variance is the only certainty we have.

It's practically impossible to count the number of hands that are played in a year. If it were for tournaments it would be difficult, imagine in a year for those who really like the game and play countless tournaments.

I play an average of 3-4 tables a night. I play 3-4 days a week and probably play about 10 months out of 12. It's hard to calculate how many hands I play in a year, but I think it's quite a lot. Although in general, I have consistently positive results.

I have never counted them . Ofcourse when I used to play zoom for one or two days in a row , I noticed that I played far too many hands , who's is to be expected . But specific number ? I don't know . I am not teg to be interested in such details

Sadly not near enough or consistently enough. So I mostly make an effort to play the bigger yearly MTT series on pokerstars and weekend events. With work being on call 24/7 365 days a year, family and a few other hobbies I could use 30-40 hours days not 24 hour days. But such is life.

Cheers!!!

I play only in tournaments, cash games are unprofitable for me. On average, I play 4-5 days a week, and on average I play in three tournaments a day. It's hard to say how many hands I play, but I think there are at least 1000 hands per day.

I'll have to check, but so far I don't know how many hands I'll play in a year, thousands of hands for sure.

Wow that's alot! You mostly play zoom if i recall right?

These days I am doing 20k hands a month (not inc tourneys), so perhaps I could get to 250k in a year.

This year particularly I haven't played too much. I'd say around 70-80K of hands.
That's only 50-60 serious sessions on this year.

I don't count how many hands I play every day, so I won't be able to say exactly how many hands I play per year. A lot depends on my tournament success. The more successful I am in a tournament, the more hands I play. But I think it's logical.

The probability of that happening is high, actually. Surely someone has already created a program so that AI can review your game and hand history and improve their performance at the tables.

I never thought about telling. I only know one thing:
It's not enough.

Not enough. Perhaps 20.000 hands. The player pool at the Nosebleed stakes is going south online and I don’t trust GG. I play at PokerStars only. Even at peek hours there will be but shy action beyond NL1000. Doesn’t really matter though. These days job and family give limited time to play.
