Unless they just test the bots on lower levels and they are really terrible it's always bad for you since they take money from the worst players even if you can beat some of the less sophisticated ones.

And since bots have been winning up to at least 400NL for over 10 years you can imagine that almost all bots are better than the population today.

Sites like ACR and and Betonline have a long way to go to solve the bot problem.

Its frustrating how poor of a job they have done ensuring a fair playing field.

I just don't know how to differentiate them, to be honest. Although, of course, there are a few players on pokerstars who have never replied to me in chat and never used animated items. But the high probability is that they're playing from a smartphone and not responding to chat at all.
