Lexi Gavin-Mathers entered a $1000 satellite to the 2024 wsop Main Event where the top 10 would receive a ticket to the Main Event. During this satellite Lexi mentioned that there was a bit of a twist to this particular tournament. The twist began when the tournament was down to 11 players. The low stack was offered $300 from each of the 10 other players remaining which he eventually accepted. But, what is most interesting is that normally WSOP does not allow deal making during their live tournaments. This is the first I have heard of this but I did ask around and seems this is not uncommon with online poker rooms.

I've included a video from Lexi's Vlog on the goings-on with this satellite.

My question is, will this type of satellite format catch on in future live events?
