I've just been reading up that this years World Championship of Amateur Poker is at Dusk til Dawn Nottingham UK in August. I've been to this place before its great, everything a player could want. Any Cardschat members planning on going? Lots of different events on over a 6 day period it looks very tempting. Lots of variants too which I wouldn't know how to play if it wasn't for the great guides on here.

I would love to go there , may be next time. You plan to go this year?

Yes I have decided to go I am counting down the days just too excited! Its Europe's biggest stand alone card room as far as I know and the City is great to visit. You should visit one day it will be worth it and a lot cheaper than going to Vegas.

Day 1 of the festival and I had such a good time. I made the final table of the turbo although finishing 9th didn’t pay much. I had quad Kings as the highlight of my night. Heads up for anybody planning on going here they have a new fingerprint sign in method.
