both is ok for me as it depends on the mood of the player. in live poker you can read you opponents and in online poker you can play as many table as you want.

Of course, live poker always has a cool atmosphere and it's nice to play live, but now online poker is probably the best thing that can be because we certainly won't get emotions like live poker has not so strong emotions, but the time spent in online poker will be more profitable than live poker, we can play lots of tables and do business or be at work and play poker that's why online poker wins in this regard, but for professional players who have enough time and they don't they work, I think it's good for them to play live poker

I am so much better live than online, online poker is mostly for grinders not casual players trying to have fun
One thing you have to be prepared for with live is that the game is much slower. When you play online you will see many more hands per hour, and if you are multitablkng you can just fold until you have a good hand.
When you play live, you will see 25-30 hands per hour and there is no multitabling. You can sit for hours and not get dealt a playable hand. You will see other players play really bad hands, mostly because they are bored and card dead and want a change of pace.

Personally, I love live poker very much, where you can chat live and see the emotions of your opponents. But again, I also love online poker because even if my back is simply tired, I can lie on the sofa or bed and play from my laptop or phone, so somehow it turns out, but most of all I'm drowned for offline poker, but unfortunately in my city where I am now we don't have live poker and it's frustrating you have to go to other cities very hard, sometimes where there is offline poker cash hold'em

Of course live poker will always be something special, which I have yet to try. But there is no denying, that online is way more convenient and usually also cheaper. Low stakes live tournaments or cash games usually have a very high rake or fee to cover the costs of the hosting establishment, and in top of that you have transportation costs and the temptation to buy expensive food and drinks in the casino.

live poker games where i live (california ) are incredibly soft . most of the small stakes field has come to gamble and the chips fly almost all day long ! the problem is the house rake and 'promotion' drop is incredibly high . 1/2 and 1/3 no limit holdem ring games are almost unbeatable due to that issue . if you move up to 2/5 and higher the average player is much more disciplined .

Online is training grounds, to me online is too risky, vs bots vs players multiple tabling.

It depends on what the player wants to get. If you want to enjoy a comfortable game in a relaxed environment, then you need to choose online poker. But if you want to experience maximum emotions from the game and maximum adrenaline, then you need to choose live poker. If I had the opportunity to go to a poker club every time I wanted to play, then of course I would choose live poker. There I enjoy not only the game, but also the communication with people on various topics, and the poker atmosphere itself, which is all around.

Live for me no contest. No huds, no solvers, no sketchy software, no super users, no bots and no hackers just your own skill, memory recall and intuition. Online to me is just a fun computer game to pass the time that I don’t take too seriously or indulge in much. It’s like any other computer game, If you come up against players with more weapons than you then you will be killed(metaphorically speaking) eg they use HUDs and solvers and you don’t = game over, just like GTA if they have flying cars and you don’t your player will most likely die. It’s still great fun but Live on the other hand is real poker against real players with real cards and real emotions and the thrill of winning and knowing you did it without assistance is exhilarating. Just my opinion to each his own. Imagine playing Live and only a couple of players at the table can see numbers above everyone’s heads or consult a chart to make a play it would be a scandal whereas online this is rationalised as “well it’s not illegal” and “just part of the game”. It’s ting and yang, completely different games.
