Day 1a to 1d

I am going to be playing in a poker tournament in Las Vegas. I will be playing in day 1a, my question is. If I bag chips at the end of day one but would like to increase my chips [I know it can’t be added to day 1a ] and play in day 4 do I forfeit day 1 chips? Can I choose to go with the bigger bag of chips?

Good question, but I won't have answers, where the game can't accumulate chips, I'm obliged to receive, it's only possible being in a tournament
