Suddenly I realize that, if I want to keep enjoying poker, I need to do it another way. Maybe playing cash games. Maybe playing home games with friends. Maybe playing Cardschat freerolls here and there. But life is never the same, it changes little by little. We are never the same. When I've read the book The Godfather of Poker, Doyle Brunson's autobiography, this is the one thing I never forget: he describes how his life had its seasons, and in some of them, he barely played poker, like he never was a professional poker player.
