Your Three Favourite Books?

Most poker book I’ve read are either outdated or a waste of time and money. But a dozen or so stand out as excellent. To name three of them:

Jonathan Little: Bluffs

Jared Tendler: The Mental Game of Poker, 1&2

Alexander Fitzgerald: The 100 Biggest Mistakes That Poker Players Make

All these books can be purchased - and listened to - for a bargain at Audible

Peter Clark "Poker Therapy", James Swinney, Adam Jones "How to Play Ace-King" and Jared Tendler "Poker: The Mind Game".

Honestly haven't read any new poker books. All the ones I have and read are 15+ years old and there's a lot of them . Likely have all the 2+2 publishing poker books and a number of other books consider some of the best from back then.

If I was inclined and going to read any newer poker book it'd likely be Modern Poker Theory by Michael Acevedo(link below for anyone interested). I would also read anything from Phil Galfond. With that said I don't think the new way of learning is thru reading a book. Online courses and personal coaching is the way to go now days in my opinion.

Perhaps some will list Harrington On Hold’em by “Action” Dan Harrington, where he advocated The Zone Play. Was the go to books for tours in the early years. Circa 2007 Arnold Snyder wrote The Poker Tournament Formula where he made an unpresidented harsh critique on Harrington’s work claiming it for being unrealistic and more suitable for deepstack tours.
To me the best book on tours is Secrets of Professional Tournament Poker by Jonathan Little.

I will always appreciate the Harrington on Hold'em series. Lately I have read Short Stack Ninja by Chris Wallace and Poker Satellite Strategy by Dara O'Kearney...both of whom have been active here on CC.
