Or do you? o_O Yeah, you do.

Even though most of you would say: Noooooh, I would never. 100% is such a great return.

100 percent
That notion would suddenly turn on its head when you are playing tournaments. Then you'd say: Nah, it's not worth it.

And it's understandable. Especially if you are an individual in a high income country.
Doubling your couple of dollar buy-in after maybe six hours of play is not ideal. Your hourly rate is less than peanuts.

Yet, everything is so deeply tied up with our point of view.
What's interesting is that our view most likely changes when we move from one game format to another.

If you play Spins your ROI is mostly either 100% or a big fat zero. If you are able to crush those, doubling up your $1 buy-in doesn't seem so bad after all.
Or get a 100% ROI in a cash table and suddenly you start feeling like an all crushing beast 💵💵

Then again if we win in a freeroll (just a couple of bucks) what are our thoughts then?
After all we are getting infinite return from nothing

Where do YOU stand with 100% ???

If you twisted your brain during reading - that's on you.

Sorry, @Tero , I meant to reply but forgot. 😅 Thanks for the video. 🙈🤣

Definitely, tournaments usually have a very bad hourly winrate indeed. 🤯

That's why I try to late reg and at some sites, you get ITM after about an hour, so that gives a decent ROI per hour, if you manage to get ITM.

I manage to climb my bankroll up to 5k+ over all sites by now but that's a super slow rate for the two years of time invested 😅

But I always say to myself:
At least I earn a bit with this hobby instead of spending money on it, with usual hobbies. 😆🎉

A year ago I was lucky enough to win a $10,300 gold pass in a free daily spin, which I exchanged for a pack of tickets of different buy-ins.
Tickets must be played within one year.
Some tickets I managed to win money, some I didn't.
I haven't calculated my ROI, but I feel somehow (I don't know exactly what) that it is much more than 100% today.
If you have the desire and time, you can look at my game results for 10 months and calculate the ROI of the initial free spin worth $0.5.

I think a much easier way to look at things is $ won per hour.

If you think adding a freeroll will increase your hourly - add it, if you think it will subtract from your hourly - dont play it.

Your goal should be to maximize your hourly earnings.

I glimpsed at the thread and took what you said here:
This opportunity costed only 50 cents and to date I have managed to pull out more than 3,000 dollars from it.
And do you know how much that makes as your ROI percentage?

It is (close to) whopping 600 000 %

Your goal should be to maximize your hourly earnings.
Naturally. And by looking at my hourlies my time would probably be better spent at cash tables.

ROI 100% is EXTREMELY rare!

When I'm playing MTT's, I'm typically playing ~$250-to-$300 in total buyins for the day. If I could be hitting an ROI of +100% I would never need to work. (oh yah... I don't work. I forgot)
