Hi All!
I am a newbie in Poker. I played live cash games with my cousins and won around 300 u. But when I tried to play online on N8 of GGpoker, I lost. I know my level is very low.
Now I want to find some course about tournaments. Please recommend me some courses I should start from zero.
I have seen some tournament course recommendations on pokercoaching and raise your edge. Which one should I learn first or both? any learning path?

Many modern professional poker players started their careers and learned to play from freerolls. However, you need to understand that no matter how extensive the tutorials from other more experienced players are, all the gaps in your understanding of the gameplay will not be closed immediately. As soon as you begin to hone your skills at the tables, you will need to learn to find weak points in your game and eliminate these holes, thereby improving your strategy. It is important to understand that any training materials are just a list of basic knowledge that should serve as a basis for building your gaming strategy. Through a series of mistakes and failures, with a serious approach to the matter, you will succeed. In addition to being well-versed in theoretical knowledge, psychological preparation is also important. Poker is not the most relaxed game, and to succeed in it, it is important to learn to control your emotions.

You don't have to pay for information. Learn all you can from this YT-channel and it would be more than enough:

Well since I came to post exactly this. I guess I'll have to 2nd this instead.

Also if you're on Twitter. This guy(Gareth James) is a great follow and gives plenty of free advice on Twitter. Check out this guy. Link to site is below well. Not sure how much is free. If you're not on Twitter in my opinion he's worth registering an account for.

Cheers!!!

Try to find a coach/books/videos that are easy for you to understand. Learn the most in the least amount of time is your goal now if you want to really learn these strategies. Have fun!

I am curious. Can you mention just one “modern professional player” who started her career and learned to play from freerolls.
As you say “many” can you name just a handfull. I think the number is zero. Prove me wrong.
PS! Norwegian Annette Obrestad did the job. Twenty years ago, så that does not fullfil the criteria of “modern poker player.”

Do follow what my fellow CC players said. Its a good start this way. As to how you do it you should ask what you want in the end. If you just want to get better and have fun thats OK. Our course and book you can find will help alot. If you want more and maybe become a professional, you need to be prepaired to spend some good money to grow your game. If you want to try out training sights just ask and many here can point you to what you would want. Good luck

I'm trying to play NLHE 9-max before $0.01/$0.02 ($0.01) ,BUYIN:200BB (4$). I feel like my graph is pretty high, do I need more samples?

There are many instructional videos on YouTube. I believe that cardschat even has a course. But the best way to learn is through practice.

Seems a sweeping statement but it could just mean they learnt to play on freerolls, why put money down while learning the basics which would make sense. I cannot imagine many professionals built their bankroll from freerolls.
