Discipline, if you are not at your best, take a while, trying to find the lost money, will make you lose the rest.

Play again, calmly and without trying to recover what you previously lost. Look at your hands, save those where you lost chips (greater than 3bb) and then sit down and analyze your mistakes, write down how many hands you play, with which cards you pay and how much.

not that hard, try to zone in on your opponent, be disciplined through the downsing sequence, and you'll be back

If you can't follow your bankroll strategy because of negative emotions, you should take a break from poker for a few hours. For example, you can go outside and get some fresh air or take a shower. Sometimes it helps. ;)

If you only play when you have a 100 buyins or more its tough to go broke.

If you dont have 100 buyins move down in limits until you do.

i def like two suggestions i quoted hope both came here was most recent two but 100 buy ins too much for me as ssdi person that is for sure...I have rules for rake poker its have 4 x meaning buy ins if you put 50 at table you need 200....taking breaks is good go watch some people who are playing winning poker for a day on twitch youtube....or just take a day off at beach etc...refresh mind let everything go on a down slide if you know you are playing winning poker doing right steps following decent rules !! sometimes you simply cant win in poker...now as far as tournaments im not a big rebuyer but id have to have 2 buy ins total ready if wanted to use or play...make sure you are studying your hand play weekly etc... if your pushing you need to take that time off ...TRUST THE PROCESS if your playing right it will turn around...i was down for a couple years...im not winning as much as I am used to here at cc playing since may but i know for most part i am playing correctly so its ok...if you play a ton of poker im millions of hands in youve seen every way to lose:) is only one winner in a tournament i have a number where want to hit certain targets slowly very slowly im getting closer...rake play is easier make sure your not at a level your not comfortable with

If you dont have 100 buyins or a super high proven ROI, then your risk of ruin is generally going to be high.

Take a break of a couple days to calm down and review your game. We usually play a lot better after breaks.

Have you ever heard of bankroll management?
If not, then take an interest. I never worry about my bankroll because I have my own bankroll management system. It's quite simple, and it means that I never spend more than 3% of my bankroll on one game session.

The main thing in such a period is not to panic. Any, even the most titled players, have faced a downstreak. Poker without a streak is not poker.A prolonged downstreak can have a devastating effect on your playing style. Constant failures undermine your psychological state. During such a period, many players commit outright stupidities and simply lose their entire bankroll. You cannot succumb to tilt. It is best to distract yourself and devote time to learning. This will extinguish raging emotions and turn on the logical centers of your brain.

There are several things you can do.

1. Consider reducing your stake.
2. Consider reducing your play time and number of tourneys played.
3. Spread bankroll over a period of time and carefully select the best value tourneys - for example, i like to play a lot of knockouts for value, yes often that means the prize money is diluted if you make FT abut the value of return can be very useful with increasing your BR if you knock several out - depending on value of initial buy in.
4. Take an enforced break and do something else.
5. Take a look here at this useful article - https://www.cardschat.com/poker/strategy/poker-bankroll-management/

The best way is to simply take a break for a few days or a week. This is the most reliable and absolutely free method to change the trend.

First of all, bankroll management remains an essential element, the best method to limit fatal losses is not to play at higher levels, to respect the number of buys... you need to have more buys which should generally not exceed 10% of the bankroll...

The best way is to stop playing for a while. The second option, if you don't want to break the bank, is to drastically reduce your buyin.

To avoid breaking your bankroll during a losing streak in poker, stick to proper bankroll management. Play at lower stakes, set loss limits, and take breaks to stay focused. Avoid chasing losses, and review your gameplay to learn and improve. Stay disciplined and patient. poker is a long-term game.
