Range Charts

I have been looking at some of the range charts and have found that they can be quite confusing.
Does anyone have range charts that they can post that are accurate and a simpleton like me can understand?

If you simply google - poker range chart - you will find "millions" of them.

But more importantly, what is so confusing about them?

I've never seen one that wasn't 'confusing'. Unless you have a photographic memory they're not particularly useable. If I'm playing according to Hoyle (which I'm sure you know I don't usually) I just think in terms of generalities. Better hands (that don't necessarily require draws to win) in EP and lesser drawing hands on the button. I would play middle of the road hands in the blinds.
