Sometimes, against some players, not often, I need a bluff to win chips. It's always good to have a plan “b” up your sleeve, i.e. the semi-bluff would work well with a pair or when I'm on a draw.

Many times pocket pairs will lose value in river, in this situation principally in cash game you have to bluff with minimum value
