A pretty simple idea is to play the opposite of the table, so yeah if loose play tight and vice versa👍

Just loose, not LAG? Loose players should be your primary target. They will be calling wide preflop and calling down often with the second best hand or paying to high a price to draw. Tighten up, raise and 3! liberally and take them to value town with top pair or better.

Does the seat at a poker table really matter? Anyway, the position always changes depending on the dealer.

When playing loose players post flop actions are what matters. Do they start to fold and if so when? If we get to rivers multiway then most often the winning hand will be 2 pair+ so that is our target-- to get to rivers we want to be making those type of hands but top two not bottom 2. Nut draws return much more equity than big pairs so we want to build pots with those draws on the early streets and control pots with just one pair that will seldom improve or if they improve it is to a second best hand like a set of aces bringing in the flush on the river.

Absolutely! It's way more important than my actual hand.

Start studying Multi-Way pots. You will be mostly playing these Post Flop so get used to it.

It all depends on the situation, the stage of the tournament, the size of the stack and other factors. Sometimes I can play more aggressively, although it doesn't always give a good result.
