Limping in Passive or Soft Games

Passive Players: In games where opponents are not aggressive, the limp can work to see the flop cheaply, especially in low-stakes games where players tend not to exploit frequent raises. If your opponents rarely raise pre-flop, the limp gives you the opportunity to see the flop without taking too much risk.

Low-limit games: At tables with many recreational players, limping is a more common practice. In these environments, limping can be acceptable, as there is less aggression, and players tend to play more speculative hands without worrying about position.

The value of the starting hand decreases if many players participate in the pot. We shouldn't fall in love with our preflop cards. One pair rarely wins on the river. Sometimes a limp equals a raise at a tight table.

In games with passive players: If your opponents are not aggressive, limping can be a cheap way to see the flop, especially in low-limit games.
In low limit games: Recreational players are often less aggressive, making limping more common in these games.
However, it is important to remember that "limp" is not always the best option. You must consider your position at the table, the strength of your hand and the playing style of your opponents.

I could be wrong, but now the world of poker has changed and you simply won’t be able to limp from agressive players, and if there are a lot of them at the table, they simply won’t let you see the flop. Therefore, agricultural players are now simply tearing up the tables.

Strategic limping involves certain parts of your range that benefit from multiway pots and over nutting other players. AX suited --small pairs as set mines--- in multiway games 99 and below could be considered small pairs as your Villains will often play all their paint cards suited or not JT QT etc etc-- If we have TT we block those combos.

As too limping vs passive players we often want to raise many of our hands because we will not be 3bet very often so with Axs on the btn vs 3 limpers we often make a pot builder raise that allows us to represent the top of our range and win some pots or at the least pot control them.
