In a limit Omaha hi lo game with a kill

If a person is all in for main pot (which does not have enough to qualify for the kill) and the side pot has more than enough to qualify for the kill)

If the all in scoops the main pot (does not qualify for the kill) and the side pot is scooped by other player is there a kill?

I'm not entirely sure I understand what you mean by "kill"...., I'm guessing you mean KO?...,

but a person can only collect what he put in the pot so if there is a side pot he's not involved in it doesn't affect him.

... maybe posting the hand would get a clearer analysis of the situation👍

This is way too confusing. You first have to clarify what you mean by kill and secondly since you say it is omaha hi lo so it is not clear if there was a low pot

Wouldn't the kill be brought into the main pot - preflop?

The kill-pot qualification you are talking about is for the next hand. And from your description there is enough in both the main and side pots for a kill on the next hand.

If there is a kill on this hand then it qualified in the last pot.

Do I have this right?

Why aren't there kills in online poker?

the private club I used to play at played it with a half kill rather than a full kill but when the situation you described happened, as long as the side pot was scooped and qualified for the kill, then yes, the next hand would be a kill pot.

Yeah it can be fun, it just adds a bit of spice to what can be a bit of a bland split pot game like limit O8.

I love Omaha 8 but I cannot find a site to play it in. I live in Ontario so my options are limited. Any suggestions?
