You have to really know player types, get them into a category so you know what line to take against them. If it someone who can’t fold then max bet your value.

I try to extract the most value, but I find it very villan dependent and am constantly adding notes.

Not always that simple. You need to understand the game well to get max value. You also need to understand the player you are against. Some players getting value from is very simple. Other are not.

Depending on the board, I will sometimes slowplay the nuts to let the villains catch up or bluff me. I sometimes check but more often I just make a small bet.

Are you sure you want to do that per hand? I may lose value in a hand by over betting pot vs V's range causing them to fold instead of small trap betting to get a call in that hand but I am not just playing 1 hand vs a V. I can then extract max value in later hands when they play for stacks because my big bet effected their decision tree or if they continue to fold I can win pots with bluffs again getting more value than the cards deserve to get based on EV.:geek:

extracting value per hand consistently, is about playing solid, aggressive poker, understanding your opponents' tendencies, and using strategic adjustments based on the flow of the game.
