If you are just learning no limit then you have to learn what spots are best to be betting or raising because it’s not for every spot. Sometimes checking is the best play. If you don’t know what to do because you are not experienced enough, you should probably just check until you learn what to do. The only way to win a poker tournament is by being aggressive and winning key flips. Of course, luck and well timed bluffs are also important, but overall, you can't expect to win a tournament by simply waiting for premium hands and hoping to accumulate chips that way. Success comes from actively making moves, putting pressure on opponents, and seizing opportunities when they arise. This is in my opinion for tournaments and for cash games i dont play like that i play for premium hands or when i see opportunity for free pot
