Are you a poker player, what kind? How does your forum membership benefit you?

I started out of curiosity and to find out something to complete. I am very interested in the philosophy of the game and playing with the psyche of the players.
Do we enter with interest, out of habit, or do we always want something new, constructive?. Or maybe it's just for the occasion, it really doesn't matter 🙃.

My favorite part of being a member here is the CC freerolls.. They are the best!

I too like the CC freerolls. I don't actually get to play too many of them, but it's nice knowing that they are there. I'm really enjoying the Summer League. Everybody seems to take the League games very seriously.

The VIP games are of less interest to me since they require a little more advance activity, and they tend to be on weekends.. Although, I really enjoy the discussions that earn VIP points. They seem to be a little meatier, and even though I don't really use the VIP points, I like earning them. That's all a bit odd I guess, but it is what it is.

I don't read or participate in the poker hand specific discussions. I probably should I guess, but I find them kind of boring. I mostly get involved in political, general poker, and other Hangout discussions all of which I quite enjoy.

My philosophy toward poker in general is to try to improve a little at a time. I'm finding watching my teammates' games in League to be quite useful in that regard, probably because I have a stake in the team's outcome.

I guess I'm not the typical Cardschat member.

I love card games, I started playing Solitaire when I was off school with measles, and my Mother taught me how to play at a very early age. I cannot describe the feeling I get from handling a deck of cards, shuffling and cutting the cards, I can do it for hours, -

Long time hobby/rec player. Mostly online. Even thou I'm hobby player(not in really for the money) I take poker rather series. I'm thoughtful, thinking, tough player who plays a TAG(baseline)/exploitive and who plays more be feel/gut and who plays mostly for the competition cause as I age other hobbies such as sports I enjoy like basketball, baseball and boxing I become less competitive in at level I'm happy with because of past injuries, age and such. Getting older sucks guys I don't recommend it .

After double tabling my first 2nl 6 max session yesterday.....I gotta say I don't think I'll ever like, enjoy or be good at 6 max. I find roflmfao funny thou that a decent winning full-ring and MTT winning player doesn't get/have a feel/flow or get comfortable being a 6 max player. So frustrating😠 it's funny.. Guess I have more studying and work to do. For now back to full-ring to get back that $22 back I dumped at 6 max.

CC gives me a place to share my 20+ years experience(maybe it can benefit others) and is a place I come to enjoy discussing and chatting about our poker hobby. Along way maybe I'll learn a few new tricks myself. CC has a lot good, easy going and friendly members here who like discussing poker.

What kind? A fox, a mammal. I play poker mostly in freerolls and satellites. But I have a bankroll of 24$ on GGPoker, which I sometimes use for spin&go and cash games. Being a member of our Community has helped me a lot to understand poker and also to meet very strong players from all over the world!

I would say that I am a winning player at low levels. The freerolls from CardsChat helped me build my bankroll and use that money to continue gaining experience and learning in poker.

You're right of course. Nobody's changing anybody's mind about Trump or Harris or any other political figure. Wouldn't it be special though if that were the case?

These threads give us the opportunity to vent more than anything else I guess. We choose sides and we support our side's opinions. No tough decisions to make when the civil war starts either.
