Do you believe in any superstitions in poker such as. For example, on Monday I usually lose everything and on Saturday I win more or is it just a coincidence

No. Except for thinking the dealer is out to bust me o_O
Mostly I feel superstitions are irrational except that they usually have some basic reason for existing at all.
Relating to poker, I find it easy to not trust a dealer who constantly and continuously destroys the true odds of the game
Good Luck, Gary :geek:

I'm used to looking at things realistically, and at my life in general. Those who work hard, persistently, every day, step by step, go towards their goal, such people achieve their goals. But there is another type of people who can blame their failures on, for example, the day of the week, or their PC, or a neighbour who spoiled their mood, and usually these people never achieve anything.

About Monday, that's for sure! Just like the fact that if the lights are turned off, it's much more difficult to win on the phone than on the computer! )))

One of the most common superstitions among poker players is the belief in a "lucky shirt." Many players believe that a certain shirt will bring them luck and help them win more hands. Some even go further and claim that a certain color or design of shirt affects their play.Another interesting superstition is the belief in the "lucky coin." Players often carry a coin or token with them that they play poker with. They believe that this coin brings them luck and helps them make the right decisions.

I recently spoke to a guy at gym who programs poker Apps and he says the level of variance is based on the volume of people at a give time, so large amount of people the flush’s and straights are more prevalent and when it quite it’s more of the poker we bel to be “fair”.

Of course I believe, when I win, I play so well, when I lose, I justify the dispersion on the wrong day, the stars are other superstitions, for example, not lucky cowards)

Unfortunately or fortunately I am absolutely not a superstitious person - that's why I don't believe in anything except pure skill and a bit of luck.

The great superstition of poker is variance... without it this doesn't exist.

No, because this does not change the result of the hands, it is just a selective memory.

Superstition always motivates us, but I don't think it can be the main point.

After winning two all-ins in a row, I don't care—the next hand for all of them is a fold.
