Our thoughts and longings always aim for victory.A poker game won once remains in our memories and minds for a long time.Even if after that we do not manage to achieve anything serious for a while, we still fight, try and try.
This is because the strength and joy of victory once experienced is like doping, which can sometimes drive us to death like butterflies that run to a fire and burn in it when dying.

Very well said about the butterflies! I think that yes, you are right about that. I, for example, really enjoy final tables. Still, I've learned to accept bad tournaments as part of the game. So the only thing I get from poker is dopamine. :)

Victory is addictive—one win drives us to chase more, even to our downfall, like butterflies to a flame.

I agree with you. The satisfaction of winning is a unique feeling that most of us spend time playing all kinds of games for.

Victory is a happy moment in life, these moments are always remembered, I wish that everyone had as many such moments as possible.

I don't know... If you take winning too seriously... you can get rid of all your nerves at once) The decision to call or throw it off does not come from feelings, but from some logic... So is the win, the combination of factors, time and desire...)

Victory in poker, like a drug, can be addictive. The rush of winning triggers dopamine, reinforcing the desire to play more and chase that high again. This can lead to overconfidence, reckless decisions, or playing beyond one’s limits. Just like with any addiction, the key is control—staying disciplined, managing emotions, and recognizing that long-term success comes from consistency, not just short-term wins. The best players know how to enjoy victory without letting it cloud their judgment or push them into dangerous patterns of play.
