I think I can remember the Sunday Million tournament last winter. Then I got eliminated in the 3rd hand. I had “KK” and limped them, then my opponent went all-in with “A10” and I called. And yes, my rival got an "A" on the river. I got eliminated and still can't forget it.

The hand that hurt me the most was playing NL5. I had a set on the flop, and my opponent only had a pair. Little by little, the pot grew until we went all-in on the flop. I remember my opponent had a 4% chance of winning the hand. I didn't do a cashout since I never do, and the next two cards completed a straight for my opponent. He took it all, haha.

It’s always tough when you lose more money than you can afford. I’ve learned from that experience and try to avoid making that mistake now.

Lost a huge hand on the final table that ended up crippling me in a live tournamnet. I rivered a full house and the opponent rivered a straight flush.
What made it so hard to take is that the opponent had thought he lost because he did not realise he had the straight flush and it needed to be pointed out to him. So he had the body language of losing and then he got all my chips. 😑

I've been playing poker for so long, more than 12 years, that I can say for sure that all my defeats were essentially trifles that did not affect my life in any way. For me, poker is entertainment and therefore I treat the game as a hobby that brings me joy. Yes, everything becomes much easier :)

Over the years of playing poker, I have had many defeats, I cannot count everything and each defeat is painful in its own way, somewhere I did not enter the prizes, somewhere I lost with the best cards and so on.

You need to treat poker as a hobby and everything will be fine.

Taking 2nd place on stake poker tournament. Do all that work to lose on the river. I hate the river because of that.
