Normally, when someone beats me with a bad play, no matter how much I hate them, I have the habit of praising them, since I want that play to be repeated with me. We always see this in other sports, people wanting other athletes to evolve and improve, but is it the same in poker?
Or am I the only one who is a miserable selfish person????:unsure::unsure:

To be honest, I've never understood the tantrums in a game chat when a player loses to a trash hand. I'm one of those people who doesn't like being told that he played incorrectly. For example, I once made a 3-bet with a Q8s. It was HU at the end of the tournament. The flop gave me a flush-dro, and my opponent got a set. He went all-in and I pressed call. I caught my Flush. He wrote something rude in the chat and after the game he wrote on the forum what a lame game I had.
What for?
And anyway, it's none of his business how I played - it's my game and it's up to me to decide what range I play and how I do it. This is poker, and this time I was luckier than him, that's all.
When I lose to some trash hand, I can swear out loud, but in fact, I'm never upset with which hand I was defeated with, for a moment I'm upset with the result itself - the loss. But I don't see the point in writing something to the player - it's his game and his decision, and luck was on his side.
All that can be said is: gg and gl.🙌

Poker is something so subjective and individual that it shouldn't even have a range of hands.
I lose a lot with good hands and sometimes I win with bad hands.
But usually the ones who complain are people who are not used to being contradicted and are often very spoiled adults. I'm the kind of player who only respects ranges when I'm short. When I'm big, I land the spoiled ones!!!

There are a couple things at play...entitlement and the notion that poker relies on intelligence...
Thus when a player is bad beat they feel it is due to some wild flights of fancy on the part of their opponent and they are aggrieved.

However poker is a game of odds and someday you find yourself on the odd side of that 5% outer...if you play enough...you just have to suck it up and begin again.

I dont rail against bad beats...my opponents might get wiser and play better...

On top of that there is a ton of bad poker advice out there...if my opponents keep following them it means more winning for me in the long run.

Everyone knows the theory that we shouldn't get tilt on bad beats, or to brag with lucky wins...
But that's theory, and we cannot always act accordingly. Sometimes we act on impulse, it is human nature
