It's great to have a poker community where you share experiences and have a lot of general ideas on different topics, honestly I'm very happy to be part of the community like Cardhat, huge respect and I wish all players the best of luck :)
But from my little experience I see that there are relativities in risk management and money management strategies to progress as a professional and move to the next levels
I would love to hear about your experiences

Of course, when choosing between poker and trading, I definitely prefer to choose poker, in poker I have the opportunity to influence the result.

These are two different things! Both need knowledge. Trading needs news, informations and you just make a trade.
Poker needs more skills, it is a battle!

Melyiket részesíted előnyben? (feltételezve, hogy a tőzsdei kereskedésre gondol)
If you have a lot of money and you want to make a profit in a short time, then the stock market. However, poker does not require a lot of money because with little money, you can do a lot, with some luck and learning.

I do not think that poker can be compared to trading. Trading can be compared to traditional casino games. Poker is a game in its content that depends on intelligence, patience, and mastery of strategies and skills. First of all, trading is not a fun or social game.

I prefer trading my 1K chips into 10K chips and then trading them for 100K chips.

OK i prefer poker over stock trading.

I must have missed out the lesson in poker school where it was stipulated that poker is a social game. I see poker as a dirty war disguised as a card game and furthermore as anti-social at its finest. Otherwise you are 100% right.

A person can be a trader and he may also be a professional trader, but the fun that is found in the game of poker, and the amount of enjoyment that we spend while playing, cannot be found in trading because that is impossible.

Thanks to poker, I had to get acquainted with the crypto-currency world, so poker expands my horizons! Playing poker is more interesting to me.

If you invest in the top 500 without trading, just buy and hold, you will make a profit in the long term. When the rake is taken into account, how many people turn a profit at poker?

10% is the default number. The rake doesn’t mean much at the high stakes.

what do you prefer poker or trading ?
Honestly, I've always wanted to try my skills in trading, but I still never did. I think if all poker rooms someday completely cancel all freerolls and satellites, I'll have some time to make my own assessment about trading. But for now, I obviously prefer poker!

There are a lot of similarities between the two. Both have things like risk of ruin and expected return.

I am past the age where taking risks in the stock market with a bankroll accumulated over 30 years of work is a losing proposition as I cannot live long enough to recover from a large loss, so poker I enjoy more than trading stocks.

I don't invest in anything at all, but I want to try myself on the stock exchange. The whole point is that I want to try to monitor the data myself and learn to decide when and what is best to sell or buy. It's somewhat reminiscent of poker.

I play poker and it's a hobby for me. But I am also interested in cryptocurrency markets and even have an account on Binance. Although I don't trade yet, I regularly watch various streams and think about starting to actively trade cryptocurrencies.
