and what's the difference how you look?
If you don't look like a bum....
I agree; players should just wear whatever they typically wear, or something close to it. I suppose you may want a "look" for table image reasons, but winning poker players are observant enough to see through your "act" and then you are just left uncomfortable lol
Wear whatever you usually wear
Playing poker online I do not see any sense in this, sitting at the computer in sunglasses is ridiculous
lol - I've never gone that far, but I will admit that sometimes I have put on a suit or something more formal just to play poker at the computer. Why? Yeah, sure, no one sees me - but you play how you practice. I try to practice wearing what I'd normally wear. I can't show up to a casino or homegame in pajamas and a housecoat - so I probably shouldn't get into that habit online
p.s. Note that I'm only using online for practice though - I much prefer live poker, so my online play is to simulate live games. If you are an online pro poker player (or focus on online games), then by all means get comfy at your computer
Do you go to the next level with your poker look or do you just grab a hat and shades. Do you prefer no hate no shades? Do you need to look fly or can you go right after work?
Next level? Not really. Dress up slightly more? I might a little. I tend to wear more formal clothes anyway though. As I noted earlier, I wouldn't go to a completely different "look" just for poker if you aren't comfortable inhabiting that look.
