I was playing a MTT last night on pokerstars and I got KK in the hole.

Early on before the stacks were real large, I was sitting on the button and I raised the bet that came to me and 3 players called. The flop came 2 3 K and the first two players checked. The large stack at the table bet $400 and I re-raised to $800. The first two folded and the large stack called. The turn came up a King and the large stack bet $1200. I went all in at that time (about $4,000) and he ended up folding.

About 1/2 hour later I commented on a hand that was recently played and he comments that the hand we were heads up in he had K-3. I asked him if he was talking about the one I went all-in to make him fold and he said yes. I told him not likely, I had 4 of a kind with Ks. There was nothing but dead silence from him for the rest of the time I was at the same table!

Talk about getting busted on a bluff!

You should have said afterwards "How does your foot in your mouth taste?"

Did he know he was talking to the guy he was going heads up with? Then of course he would try to bluff you. What are the odds of you having 4-Ks

LOL I have caught many people try to lie to me in a game, but i dont say much to them back to give any information. I just take in what they say and note it down.

Lol, I almost always lie about my hand if they ask me what I had. I think you should always lie or keep your mouth shut in order not to gíve your opponents correct information about you.

He was sitting as chip leader, so I was helping the entire table. More harm could be done to him by calling his bluff than to harm to me by revealing my hand that I was already prepared for everyone to see when I went all in and hoping he would have called.

I saw this happen live in AC. There were 3 clubs on the board by the turn, and a lady was all in. A guy was thinking it over and said he'd fold the Ac to her. She then showed the Ac9c for the nut flush. They had a big laugh.

Now maybe he just said that to get free info from her, or maybe she caught him lying. But it was kinda funny.

One time i had pocket 6s at a live game and two sixes came on the flop. The guy bet into me, and i raised, he reraised etc. by the river we were heads up, and we were reraising eachother. He informed me that he had pocket 6s and that i should fold. I laughed at him and when i finally was all in, i flipped over my pocket 6s and raked in the pot. The look on his face was priceless when he flipped over the second nut hand...Kings full of sixes.
