It's great to get to the table with aggressive amateur beginners, it's very easy to take away their stack

Aggression in poker as the main source of profit.Without discussing the specific conditions of the situation, players simply talk about the benefits of aggressive play, and that its insufficient amount reduces our chances of success. Much less often such advice is accompanied by information on how and when to use this aggression. Usually, all comments come down to the fact that aggressive players are simply more successful than passive ones.

interesting fact, but if the player understands where to aggress, and not on every hand

What happens is that sometimes the cards come out to these aggressive amateur players, hahaha this is a lot of fun, but in the end they end up losing everything, but the most important thing is that you have a great time playing with them.

depends have went to vegas and can say is always 2 guys aggro in 6 or more table imo...Id still call them amateur's not full time players etc...YOU have to be PREPARED to risk to beat them at 2/5 5/10 etc....is a lot better to play say a boat in tampa where 9 out of 9 players will be older retired guys on vacation who just want some chatter and laughs....THE biggest thing you need to realize is how to sum up your competition....If you can do that you move into the next category and maybe have what it takes to even beat pros who are aggressive etc...just saying...identifying in poker is sooo important and biggest thing for me is identifying who someone is in life live poker for sure ...tournaments online is a lot tougher why to build a database of notes....i think most people write notes wrong but i think differently then most....i started it was jack rabbit idiot etc...now i do their betting patterns i can attack

yes, I take notes, but not from one action, but from a game of several dozen hands

True, but you have to be careful—some aggressive amateurs run hot and can build big stacks fast. The key is exploiting their overbets and calling ranges without getting trapped in marginal spots.

There are plenty of new/weaker players about that are (over) aggressive for sure the days of all fish being loosen-passive are long gone.

Dealing with aggro fish and maniacs is always fun, they can be problematic in shorter stacks situations such as spin and go's, late mid game MTT as they can run over the table.

Have to ask what specific situations have you guys seen the agg-fish be over aggressive in?

E.g. We check flop as pre-flop raiser OOP, they always stab at flop as pre-flop caller IP

During the freeroll you can find many different players, aggressive, passive and so on... The issue that they are aggressive, but you pay them and they don't know how to continue

I see lots of 'aggressive' players in the Cardschat freerolls. It's the "I really don't care, do you" attitude championed by the American first lady.

Contrary to popular opinion, many are not "newer/weaker players" but rather are long term regulars. Most Cardschat freeroll players are not newbies. I do it myself sometimes when I'm distracted and looking for a Hail Mary double/triple up. Pretty much never works for me, but that doesn't matter because by that time I'm anxious to move on to something else.

We should have a penalty point system at Cardschat where that kind of play reduces or zeros out the amount that you can win if you manage to make it to the top five. I guarantee that would change the game dynamics significantly. I'm not talking about the kind of aggressive play that makes sense in the moment, but rather the stupid, gratuitous stuff.

Mostly aggression is protecting a strong card from a weak one...)))

Aggressive beginner players are very focused on calling all-ins, which makes my low-stakes games very hard to compete in the long term, which makes it even harder to actually ft with so much competition

Against aggresive amateur players I wait until I have a stronger hand then them and get a good addition to my stack.Patience is key.

I absolutely agree. These are great, most desirable rivals for me.

These aggressive players do very well in the final stretch, like 2, 3 tables and until the final table, weighting towards aggression will be seen by the good players who will exploit this player, but generally aggression is profitable.

Meh. Let the donkey pull the cart up the hill. It's easier then me trying to push it up the hill. Work smarter not harder.

Aggression for the sake of aggression is just stupid and will lose you chips just as easy as being a passive idiot calling station.

Cheers!!!

Generally the micros are where we find this population, of players who vomit chips, many complain that bluffs no longer pass and just play their tendency.

Usually the newbies are very lucky. So I wouldn't say that taking away their stack is easy. I would say there is a higher probability of beating them, but not anything more than that.

In the long run, an aggressive beginner who plays too many hands and chases cards, will lose...on the short term, since luck enters into the equation, their over-aggressiveness can change the table dynamics, and they can get hot, walking away with YOUR chips.

Seems to be some confusion of what an aggressive donkey's play even is.
