A few days ago ChuckT posted a thread requesting interesting poker charts and stats. I'm a stats junky myself and am constantly saving odds charts schedules and anything that helps me gain a sense of perspective at the table.

I found this attached chart in the first poker book I ever bought. " Learn How To Win At Texas Hold 'em Poker For 5 Bucks!" No joke. The best 5 bucks I ever spent.

Anyway, this chart gives you some idea of the chances that you'll be facing an ace at the table if you have one yourself and if you don't, depending on the number of opponents at the table. It demonstrates to me the increasing value of an Ace X as the number of opponents drops. You'll see that at a six handed table the chance of competing against another ace is just about 50%. And Heads up, your Ace will stand up as the high card a staggering 88% of the time. This is important in short table situations where the high card will often take the pot.

Glad you like it Chuck. After the basic odds for sets and drawing hands this chart contains, in my opinion, the single most valuable stats a serious Hold 'em player can learn. It's all about the ace.

The editor isn't chart friendly which is why I posted it as an attachement, but this should do. The first number is the number off opponents at the table. The next three correspond tho the following percentages.
ABSENCE OF ACES BEFORE FLOP BY NO. OF PLAYERS

Number of Players
The probability that no player has an Ace, (including yourself), expressed in (%)...
If you have one Ace, the probability that no other player has an Ace, expressed in (%)...
If you have no Ace the probability that no other player has an Ace, expressed in percent (%)...
