In your personal experience and considering that they have a bad day, and you start to lose, at what point do you know when you need to retire? Assuming that you have good banking management, how many banks do you have managed as the maximum loss during a day?

On average, I play 2-3 tournaments a day. I don't play every day I play about every other day. I play for fun, so I generally tolerate difficulty or failure easily. Currently, my bankroll is only $50 and I play in tournaments that cost between 50-60 cents. But I don't spend more than $2 a day.

3-4 buy-ins, 2 coolers not in my favour, or 2 obvious gross errors on my part. I think the latter is the most important since it shows that the A game is gone and discipline is starting to deteriorate.

Playing bad, tired or no fish. I don't have a max loss before quitting, but if I am down 2 or 3 buy ins then I will tend to be playing badly, so I will tend to quit. Sometimes i can be down 3 buy ins but just from coolers and know i am at a table with agrofish so need to keep going

When I'm having a bad day at poker, I recognize that it's important to know when to stop. If I'm feeling frustrated, experiencing negative emotions, or not playing my best, it's a sign that I need to take a break. Stopping playing and resting can help me regain mental clarity and return with a positive mindset. Remember that poker is a game of skill and making emotional decisions can lead to unneeded losses. Therefore, it is essential to have self-discipline and to know when it is time to end the session and recharge.

When I start to lose concentration on the game and my level drops. I believe that everyone feels one way.

Well, if i understand correctly the question (at the title) the answer is follow: when i starting to play more trash cards than ussualy it's time for some break... or when i start to play good cards badly is also time for some break (last night happen the mix of this two ways of play o_O). Or when i go in to tilt also is time for break - but some times i don't stop for break... :D

Regarding the two questions in post #1: I find them confusing and I don't understand them, so I can't give a clear answer...

Whenever I realise I am not in the mood and start making mistakes which otherwise I wouldn't have made. Usually in those moments I get easily annoyed and on edge... that's when I know it is time to stop for the day and have a break. You need discipline for that btw, because sometimes, and I have experienced it, you know subconsciously that you are in a bad streak and annoyed, but you continue to play.

During a day's course when you start losing and the losses continue with no return and the total balance is stack negative, then it is time to end that session.

When you feel you have lost control. When you are too anxious for playing, irritated, sad, don’t play!
If you see that you cannot stop anyway, ask the poker room to block you for a while.
Set a limit for yourself: for example if I lose 5 buy-ins playing cash I quit playing. However, if you are playing good and suffering bad beats but you feel you are not affected by the losses, continue playing. 😃
