Do you use the same amount of time on each decision to avoid giving away information?

Would this have the additional effect of conditioning you to calmly consider each decision more carefully?

Do they often figure in decisions against opponents?

I try to use the same amount of time on each decision, for it turns reading harder. Most of times I like to think 9 seconds and then I play. Except preflop when it comes to me in fold, I simply insta raise.
I think that is always good to think, although we have just a couple of seconds.

yes, no, waste different time if you are comfortable, the main thing is that you think carefully and weigh the pros and cons after that you make a decision, otherwise if you make a decision and then think it will turn out very bad, the main thing is to think right and how much time it will take is not very important

Yes I do try to not react to fast to not make it completely obvious, that I dont have a decision to make. The only exception to this is, if I fold without any prior action. Like for instance if I missed the flop completely and face a C-bet. Then there is no point in wasting time, since it does not give away information, that there are hands in my range, I dont want to continue with. But if I am bluffing and get raised, I dont want to fold instantly, because that makes it very obvious, I was betting a weak hand.

timing tells are a hard read. you may be playing 2 or 3 tables which leads to slow play, i try to mix it up, fast and slow, that way no one can peg me on a good hand

Always disclose frankly and let your answer and your thinking be clear in order to rest

hello friend that's right I use the same amount of time in each decision, because otherwise you are going to give additional information that will help the villain to win the hand, for me you have to calmly consider each decision of a hand.

I think the decision time is not a key factor to rely on) The player could just move away from the laptop, or make a decision at another table

Someone instant calling usually tells me that he/she is confident in their hand, so I play a bit more cautiously, but that's about it. I change my timing while I play a lot, but that's due to doing other stuff or playing on multiple tables at the same time. I'm also quite a fast player, don't take much more than 3-5s for my move for the most part.
