Playing really bad after few winning session

Hi guys,
I play cash game every day, I’m making a little bit of profit but not enough for living because of a bad pattern that I struggle to get rid of. I try to play in a very disciplined way and try to play as much correctly as possible. So I can manage to have few winning sessions one after another and make a good profit. The problem is that after making profit for a while I try to be more creative in my game, getting less disciplined, playing and calling raises of more marginal hands and try to experiment different strategies and way of plays. Unfortunately this pattern makes me lose a lot of money until one day I realize that I should go back to my old strategy and I start to make profit again. Then I start to make profit again and the bad pattern goes on and on. So it’s been a year that my poker profit goes up and down, up and down. Do you have any recommendations to help me braking this pattern? Have any of you got stuck in this bad habit? Thanks for your answer and sorry for my English, it’s not my first language. 😃

Sounds like what is happening to me on a weekly basis. 3 tournaments cashing, 1 on the final table. Maybe even getting 1st or 2nd in one of them. Next 10 tournaments after that and I can't even make it past late registration. I am always looking into myself for this emotional change of perception and greed. I ask myself; why do I play like this? I beat myself up about it, that doesn't help either. Gotta dig deep.

Poker is a swing, but sometimes they can hang on a certain side). However, with good decisions, you can change sides.

me too, win make me forget the strategy and think the system will same.. but the reality every table got different system and different player

Try to live by poker I don’t think it will easy you should conside it like a game

You have to regulate your reward center
Best time to play on a slight hunger
You can take breaks or play less, change the type of game, many things
I have the same problem and I don't have one solution for it, I definitely play less, but I also know cases of people who play more when they are on a good streak and relax when it starts to get worse
