I saw a video Barry Greenstein and Shaun Deeb made that was pretty good, on open face Chinese poker strategy. Anyway, Barry said he wrote a deterministic algorithm to solve the game, but that it would take nearly forever to run, so it wasn't of much practical use. But when I woke up today, after watching the video the night before, I realized that there might be probabilistic algorithms that give a very good approximate solution, that would be fast enough to use in practical play. Maybe that is why some sites don't offer the game

yeah, I think this is a good video for people who has never played this game before. But vs a reg, their strategy is indeed very exploitable
