I believe this strategy works well if it's a cash game and depending on the opponent of the table

I do not believe its best to bluff preflop, unless when someone minraises and shows signs of weakness

bluffing preflop with an openraise in a shorthanded cash game is a trick of the trade that must be implemented, but rarely at micro stakes. Too many calling stations.

Already from preflop, we expand our range towards medium and even weak hands, depending on the position. The goal is to create an image of a loose player so that our premium hands are better paid.It is always easier to attack than to defend, be it football, basketball, chess or any other sport. And poker is certainly no exception.

Can you bluff pre flop even? The game is so random that with no information you are not really bluffing with any 2 cards before the flop comes out.

You need to have enough bluffs in your range and play them correctly.

I don't play cash games, so I can't say anything about it. But as for tournaments, in my opinion, preflop bluffing is acceptable in the very late stages when the blinds are high enough and the opponents are playing tight enough.

It is a very risky strategy and the profits are on the air. Only a few times it can bring results. On the other hand, in critical situations like a final table it can be the game changer!

A lot of variables come into play. Table stakes and size, players tight or aggressive, position, image. but if done right its a good tool and can be profitable

You need to choose the right moments for this, and not do it too often.
