I was confused about these two spots.

1. I understand that UTG will need to semi-bluff with A4s here in order to balance his range, but why is A4 of spades always a re-raise whilst A4 of clubs is a 57/43 mix? Especially after the turn getting rid of both potential spade and club backdoor flushes, wouldn't both combos share a similar strategy? What makes the A4 of spades a better hand to semi-bluff with than the clubs?

2. I understand that the AQo combos with a diamond will re-raise here due to blockers, but why is there such a big difference in strategy between the non-diamond combos (AhQc, AhQs, AcQh vs. AsQh, AsQc)?

Thanks.

I dont know the answer, but I am guessing, that it must have something to do with the exact suit distribution of the opponents range? I also think, the differences in EV have to be really small, so it probably does not matter much. The more important thing to take away from the analysis is, that both A4s and AQo check-raise the turn sometimes in GTO. I think, not many of us actually find those bluffs, but maybe we should? And since others dont find them, we can increase our winrate by overfolding to turn raises.

Just to elaborate a bit when I say "the exact suit distribution of the opponents range", I mean, that some cards might block combos, that they are supposed to fold, while others might block combos, they are supposed to call with. And obviously we would rather block combos, they are supposed to call with. So the slight difference in EV does not come from, what happen, when they call, but from the fact, they will fold slightly more often, if we bluff with certain suits. At least if they play GTO.

But again this is definitely not something, anyone is able to figure out in real time, and its not allowed to use a solver while playing online (RTA). So the more important point is the one, I already made. Which is to find more of those GTO bluffs, which maybe we are not finding, and then actually bluff those players, who we think might be overfolding. Which most regulars probably are.
