The situation is as follows:  I'm in an Omaha PL MTT and we're down to the final 13 players.  The top 8 pays out.  I'm in the middle of the field as far as chips.
 
I apologize for not having the hand history but here it goes.  I"m holding 8 9 10 J and 2 other players call into the flop.  The flop comes 4 7 10 rainbow.  The first player (who is also in the middle of the pack in chips) bets pot, the second player (currently #2 in chips) raises the pot to pretty much put me all in if I call.  I really put a lot of thought into the decision and decided that 12 outs were enough to give it a shot.  If I was successful I would've been in 2nd position in chips.  Unfortunately for me, I didn't hit my wrap around straight and was knocked out.  The player made the initial bet had trip 10's and the big stack who reraised had 8/9 in his hand and failed to hit his up and down straight draw.
 
IF you were in my spot, do you lay down your huge rap around straight draw and wait for a made hand before you commit all of your chips?  In hindsight, I think I should've but I'm always concerned with becoming too tight when I'm close to the money.  Thoughts are appreciated :)
