If you mean Cash Tables, I never play on them, I prefer to play Cash Tables in a Casino where I can see my opponent's. But if you are talking about Buy-ins Then When I was at my Peak during the Lockdowns I limited myself to playing a Maximum of Ten Sit and Goes, every day finishing the day off with a Cardschat Freeroll in the Evening.
Sticking to a strict bankroll Strategy of 1%, I was buying in for $1 a game at first which could cost me $10 a day, and some times it did, losing every game I bought into but my Win rate was better than average and within a few weeks I built my Bankroll up to over $300 and Started buying in to $3 games, costing me $30 a day.
It's not Easy but with dedication I built a Bankroll of over $600 in a matter of a couple of Months, Then I just got sick of playing, not because I was losing Money, far from it, but my passion for the game disappeared and I hardly play at all these days, I can only put it down to the fact that Poker became a job something that I felt I had to do, was forced to do, and It lost the Fun and appeal I had playing the game.
I only play maybe one game every 2 or 3 Months now just to keep my rewards chest active and my buy-ins have dropped to $1 or 50 Cent buy-ins, because I never started to play Poker to make Money, I just wanted to have a little Fun Playing on-line, and with that gone, I have lost all interest in the game.
Maybe I should go right back to playing for Fun Money Chips, because that's where my Passion for the game came from. :(

Now I haven't played for months, but I used to play for 2 or 3 hours a day.

I am mostly a tournament player, and when I occationally do play cash cames, its usually only for a short session. But if I do play a long session, then I definitely take breaks to go in the toilet and rest my mind etc. The great thing about cash games is, you can sit out, any time you want, and then sit back in again 5-10 minutes later, and it does not even cost you anything. Unlike tournaments, where you either need to stick to the scheduled breaks or still pay the blinds and antes, even you are sitting out.

Ive settled on the pomodoro technique. 25 mins on 5 mins off x3 'sessions' and then a longer break. Then another 3 pomodoro 'sessions'. I usually end up doing 2.5 hours and then brainfog has kicked in. Works well with my chronic illness!

Unfortunately sometimes I get kicked off table as the button goes round faster than anticipated (because others are also sitting out)

Hi. I only go in when I don't have anything on the schedule, and it takes a while until a tournament interests me, or maybe the entourage won't let me play any, at cash tables it is very easy to take a break when you want or to switch to another game. Sometimes I lose (🤔 it's ok) sometimes I get tired of winning all the time because it makes my session longer 😉.
In cash games to survive I think you need some great experience crowned with patience, good luck!
I consider myself the same as a beginner, just a bit more rusty😀.

Half an hour, I take a ticket for 0.50 cents on pokerstars and leave.Try as much as you can, within reason. During the game, we also learn and develop. But if you feel that you are already tired or start playing on autopilot, then it is better to rest. Believe me, it is really better for your balance.

I play 3 hours a day but I'm not always lucky. When I feel like I'm in a bad mood, I usually turn off the game and go watch a movie. I often don't keep track. I play NL5$ a month, 130$, and sometimes only 490$, although these last few months I've been going through a terrible bad streak.

I never play cash anymore. I find it to difficult to get an edge. It’s too much of a grind and mentally I don’t want to do something that I don’t enjoy. I play freerolls and MTT. I prefer the beginning, middle and end format of tournaments. One has a definite ending in sight.
