Flopped quads twice in 5 sessions

Recently started playing poker/cash games at my local casino again after a LONG lay off.
Flopped quads 2 months ago(made the bare minimum) and flopped quads AGAIN this past weekend. Made a nice profit on the river.

Is flopping quads supposed to happen often? 😂 i cant hit a set but quads are easy lol

Not sure about numbers but it is a rare hand. Don't count on that, play your game without worrying about the relative strength and power of your hand.

Its 407 to 1 if holding a pocket pair making it roughly 0,25%.

But probably you will never see this for yourself ever again because of the rarity.

And the guy who says 4-5 times this week....if he is not kidding then it is because he is playing 50 tables simultaneously 24 hours a day online.

I never had that luck, but it happened the other way around I lost a full AA to a four of a kind JJ. It was the biggest tilt of my life.
Days later I lost my entire bankroll and I still haven't recovered from that tilt, I even thought about giving up. I still think about giving up

I rarely collect quads at all and I rarely see them on my desk when other people collect. I guess I'm not very lucky with a square, but I rarely see my opponents collect and win me because I rarely believe that they have and pay a lot, I hope they will also give me money to raise money from them

The biggest reason for me to wanna get quads is the beatbeat jackpot possibility...

Otherwise it is kinda hard to get paid unless the board is super wet. That and if villain is a dummy.

Today I flopped quad 8s in a FIVEway pot (someone min raised and got 4 callers, including me). The river was a card that could have completed a straight or a flush or even better, a straight flush, which would be a bad beat jackpot for me. But no one had anything. Won maybe 20 BBs...

Mad I've stumbled across your post this first time as I look to share some cash hands lol. But Quads, yes how crazy as they was all over the show on pokerstars literally just yesterday (17-18/2/24). You'll experience clusters of excessive types of hands often if you play for long enough on consecutive days... All I'm going to speculate is that the so called RNG algorithm hadn't met it's quota for the closing time period and was throwing Quads about like it was confetti!!! I had quads myself twice and see them 6/7 times, I lost to them three times I recall as well which was annoying lol.... But thankfully twice was in tournament play and only once in cash!! 😅
