do you ever fold any hand preflop in limit? my logic:
blinds are $5/$10. in the small blind, you'll be calling $5 into 15$, 3:1 on your money. it is the same for when you are raised in the big blind or after calling in the small blind, which would be calling $10 into $30, 25%. even with the worse hand, 72o, you are 34.584% against a random hand. therefore, you have the odds to call with any hand in any situation really.
but, what if your opponent was very aggressive, and you know he raises many of his hands after you call $5 in the small blind. say he raised 50% of the time when you call in the small blind. that means 50% of the time you are voluntarily putting a total of $15 into the pot, and $5 the other time. this means you are putting an average of $10 into the pot ($15 = big blind + small blind) when you "call $5" in the small blind. your odds are now 1.5:1, 40%. this is worse than 34.548%. does this imply calling in these situations is bad (at least some of the time)?
i guess an alternative to this would be to raise the $10 that you would be calling anyways. and some of these hands can be accounted for when you actually profit by call-raising your opponent when you have a premium holding.
and of course this is assuming it is checked down to a showdown, which probably won't happen. in fact, if your opponent raised preflop, he is more likely to raise later in the hand.
