I'm a bit gutted because I would have won a very big pot but I thought it was correct to fold in this situation....

What would you have done?

Well I had been playing on the table for about 30 mins and nothing drastic had happened like that....

I figured someone had at least kings but I suppose it just goes to show what people will all in with in the lower limits....

Eh. I see it as a toss-up if you were only there for a short time....some people push all in with 2's lol ... It was a lot of money. It's probably a good sign that you didn't go for it...

good fold? really didnt understand this right i. If you folded it would have been to know what you had at your hand, if not you had AK and called? Got confused. But anyway it is best to know a few hands before i would called anything like that no matter what. gl and cheers

bad fold, only because of the .05/.10c level you are playing at, QQ is likely to be a favorite to their ranges

I think it was played bad. You can't play Q's with a minimum raise and expect to come out winning most of the time. Most of the time you aren't going to get many card to fold.

This was a bad laydown because of the dollar amount. There wasn't much money at stake, and because the stakes were low you have alot of loose play usually. I would have called with that hand on that pot.

But you played wrong from the beginning.

I did'nt make a minimum raise, it was a standard raise in which I was raised and re-raised all in and then there was another all in caller.

Even if I did have the best hand, which I did'nt know at the time.....

my chance to win was 45.57%
my chance to tie was 0.44%
my chance to lose was 53.99%

These %'s are using the cards I was up against but even at low limits one of them could easily have had KK or AA in which case if someone had KK instead of JJ......

my chance to win was 18.51%
my chance to tie was 0.51%
my chance to lose was 80.98%

These figures prove that there was a bigger chance of me losing the pot than winning it even though I had the best cards.

That's why I think it was a correct fold, maybe I am wrong.

I'd have folded it too. I think you're right on with most of your reasons. If you'd been playing there that long and the player hadn't made that aggressive of a bet yet, I would have put the $13 raiser on AA, KK or possibly AK. Even if they held AK (which of course they ended up having), the odds in your favor aren't so good.

You're either a big dog or a slight favorite here. Fold and get your money in when you're a big favorite.
