KK in SB vs BB hand, 50NL

Yep still donking it up way above my BR limits at 50NL
One of tonight's (or this morning's) more interesting hands was with KK; reads are so far that villain is LAG (~45/15) and I'm TAG (~15/10 about 30 hands in). I wanted to get full value from the hand, but of course didn't want to give this LAGadonk a chance to hit a better hand.

p.s. stack sizes are roughly $50 each, +/- $5.

Hero bets $2.5, BB calls.

Turn: K♦ ($9, 2 players)
Hero bets $8, BB calls. Tried to make it look like a bet that didn't want a call...

River: 6♣ ($25, 2 players)
Hero bets $12, BB calls. Value bet hoping he has enough of the board to call me.

Results:

Any spots you see that could be improved? Could I have made more on this?

I don't know what the hell your opponent had but I probably would have bet more on the flop. With two hearts on the board, it might have been a good idea. Other than that, You played it brillantly.

I also would have bet a little more on the river. I think I'd have done at least $15. Looks more like a bet that could be a bluff, to me. Given that he called the $8 bet into a $9 pot on the turn, I don't see what's not calling a $15 bet here. And immediately after an $8 bet, I think, psychologically, the slight increase to $12 looks to really want a call. $15-$18 on the river looks more like a bet someone with nothing would make (and of course you'd like him to think you have nothing). If he had some heart draw (unlikely given the turn call, so of course I wouldn't propose checking the river) he folds no matter what you bet anyway, so that's moot. Did he have 99 or A8 or something?

i agree with dingo and combuboom... a larger bet on the river probably would've worked in this situation, but overall there's nothing to really complain about. You picked up a nice enough pot with the way you played it.

What's he going to call a big river bet with that he's played like this though? If he had A8 he would have raised the flop, aswell as with 99. If they're loose enough to gamble with A8 or 99 against my very tight range, they're going to raise a flop like that most of the time.

As it turns out he had a hand which I could have made alot more out of: 6♥3♥
