Stud but low hand wins, straights/flushes don't count against your hand.

i.e. if you have a2347 it's the same as having a2347 sooted.

or if you have 23456 you have 6 hi.

Basically the fact that a hand is a straight or flush doesn't stop it from being a valid low hand.

Yes. Your "best" five card low hand holding those cards would be AA258... since the worst hand wins, any five cards that don't contain a pair would beat your hand. Of course, if your hand was AA22568, you wouldn't be forced to use your pairs, and your best low hand would be A2568.

a low of a pair should only ever be bet with remaining opponent quads-up....not likely
