Was I aggressive enough with this suited KA on a limit table full of fish?

Please help me here as I am confused how best I should have played this hand. At first I felt that I did raise when I should have done and as a result did not maximise the pot. On the other hand, in retrospect I was happy that I didn't scare too many people off. Having said this my reason for not being more aggressive was not because I wanted to keep people in but more of the fact that I was worried UTG might have a two pair or something like that. I was only at the table for a few hands prior so I didn't have any reads whatsoever.

Comments and criticisms are most welcome. Thanking you in advance!

Hope you can edit this to show the suits before 9:34. With so many players in the hand, it is hard to tell if they were chasing the flush or just the straight, etc.

El Viajero, if you pm me the hand history, I can edit it to reflect the suits. If it doesn't work via PM, I'll give you my email and do it that way.

Just use plain text on the converter and it should show up okay.

By the way, I did use a plain text convertor and pasted the results onto my post before putting the little [] brackets around the cards. It previewed fine but didn't come out correctly as you can see. The second post I did by deleting the cards and then entering them manually which seemed to work. A strange ole bug if ever I saw one...

Pf/flop - standard

If you've raised the flop I see no reason not to raise the turn, as the 3s is a nothing card, and if anyone is now intent on waiting around with a spade draw (among the other ridiculous draws some of the players are liekly to have) it's in your interest to get more money in. If 3-bet, I then go into check-call mode and try to get to a cheap showdown. I certainly don't hate just calling one bet though.

River is fine. I know the other players are donks (seriously, upon reading this hand the word "call" has lost all meaning), but getting 3-bet would suck.

FWIW, from the tone of your original post I'm guessing you won the hand, and UTG probably had something like KQ (though anything is possible in donkland I suppose).

You need to be very aggressive with AK suited, particularly in limit. You were just about as aggressive as you should although I would have raised on the turn.

Here are the results:

SHOWDOWN
UTG shows :8c4: :kd4:
Hero shows :ah4: :kh4:
MP2 mucks cards :10s4: :kc4:
Hero wins $9.25.

So yeah, they had real donkland hands. The reason I didn't raise after the turn is because I am paranoid about getting bad beats and I worry about some fish beating me on two-pair or something. Even though in this hand I'm clearly ahead I am afraid to say I sometimes bottle it and as a result pay the price when people get cheap rivers out of me.

In retrospect I see my error here and will be more aggressive in future.
