We are starting up a "Hand of the Week" (HOTW) series for members. There will be both a Cash Game and Tournament HOTW each week (link to Tournament Hand of the Week will be linked below). We want you to post the hand(s) that gave you the most trouble that you could really use some advice on. Each week, we will choose one hand from the thread and post here in the Cash Game Hand Analysis forum for members to critique and give advice. Anyone who's hand is picked will get 5 VIP Chips*.

How to Submit Your Hand

This thread is for cash game/ring game hands only. We have a separate thread for Tournament Hand of the Week here.
  1. Copy and paste your full, raw data hand history (show results). We will be inputting chosen hands into our CardsChat Hand Converter, so we need the full, raw hand history.
  2. Give some background of the hand. Share your thoughts and concerns about the hand, and ask the questions you would like to receive advice for. Include any other data like VPIP, player reads/history, etc.
Please do NOT discuss hands or give advice on play in this thread! This thread is for submission only. We will post links to HOTW threads here as they go up, and members to whom the hand belonged will be tagged in the post. You can use the URL of that post to make a claim in your VIP thread.

*VIP Chips can be used to enter VIP specific tournaments or saved up to purchase exclusive CardsChat merch. For more info about our VIP Program, check out our VIP Program Guide.

How about the hands from Replay, should they be posted since they are usually links?

Could we also discuss a hand that seems special, of course at my table but I wasn't involved? Thank you.

Wow interesting, but who will be eligible for chips 😂, is it you the one who posted a hand or the one/s involved in the hand?

Yes, that would be fine.

Oh interesting! I was going to say yes, but then maronza brings up a good point (see below), so I suppose as long as it isn't a CardsChat game. And since this is the Cash Game thread, that shouldn't be an issue (unless you're railing a CC member, in which case you should get their permission before posting the hand here).

No, you absolutely can. I was talking more about if you were not in the hand, but found it interesting. Honestly though I think that you can post any hand you like.

Am I to understand that cash games also include CC replay tournaments? I thought it was strictly about the cash table.🤔

No. Tournaments have a separate submission thread. :) Replay does have ring games. Can't really call the "cash" games because it's play money, but there are those type of tables at Replay.

Thank you very much, it seems that I'm always behind, I didn't know that I can play cash on replay. That is, not on chips.

In replay there is a hand history, you click latest lands for tournament hands and it will show your hands for the past 2 days, hope that helps :)

Make a quick note of the hand # when they happen, so you can find them later.

Please do NOT discuss hands or give advice on play in this thread! This thread is for submission only.

Post any questions you have below!
These two seperate quotations (both from the OP) have a slightly ~contradictory~ nature about them which will invariably lead to some base elements of organic confusion being generated atmospherically. Although the organic confusion molecules themselves are commonplace and obviously entirely harmless, if collected and fired at each other through a large particle accelerator, could cause quite the kerfuffle in the hands of any unscrupulous rascals with malintent...

Having drawn attention to that glaring security risk regarding the fabric of space & time (as means of an introduction to this post) and our collective shared existence, I'd firstly like to say the following:-

Mmmmmmmmm, submission!

Now, at this stage you (my dearest reader) might be thinking to yourself 'Hold on a minute..! This post doesn't seem to be a submission or a question! Is this some kind of high-concept attempt at surpassing Level 5 (according to the official grading system) SPAM artistry inspired by, and as a hommage to, the SPAMMING style of SHELF- the legendary and universally-recognised Grandfather of the online forum pure SPAM artform and a shining beacon to artistic SPAMMERS everywhere?'...

Well the answer to that is a firm and resounding no!

Because I do have a question...

Do hand submissions need to have been played in the respective/relevant/current week, or could a poster submit a hand from any point in the past, any given week?

Oh and also do the spots have to be from buy-in/real money games or are freeroll/community/play money spots eligible too?

Pfffffft! Ye of little faith! ;) ☯️

Gotta always have at least one question prepared... Otherwise things clearly could end up being mistakenly perceived (and possibly even deleted*) as some kind of flagrantly-superfluous derailment of irrelevant inconsequentiality.

Perish the thought!

All above board and high quality posting here... :D

*The first rule of SPAM Club is you do not SPAM in any manner which might lead to upper tier, artistic SPAM being deleted**.

**It's not as catchy a first rule as Fight Club's, love their meet-ups on Thursday nights in the basement of the local...*** Oops!

***Errrr... Ignore that last bit please, you didn't hear that from me!

If we're asking questions now: do the hands have to be from online games -- meaning actually tracked by software which will get all the details right -- or is a reconstruction of a live hand also permitted?

No, they can be from any time.

No, they can be any format, play money included.

Be careful! I almost missed your questions because of the superflousosity (don't say it's not a word, it is, I've just made it one  ) of your post! :p

Yes, that would be permitted and welcome! Just state that it is a live hand, and please post as many details as possible.

Copy that!

Thank you for your continuing saintly patience with me and apologies for the times when it is seemingly being tested...

Have caught up on some sleep now and the creative writing pixies and goblins are being much more ruly again!

Will keep an eye on any unscheduled particle accelerator experiments over the next month or two just to be on the safe side.
