UTG shows: K 5

UTG wins: $9.69

I made my decision to call against UTG because of his wide range/opening range. While i realize he's got many more Kx-s than I, I also expect him to have a lot more air in his range.

No spoiler yet---In these game types we can be unbalanced in our 3 bet sizing so AKo can be 3x the open AA KK smaller-
A good study point here would be to define the BTN calling range vs utg and you---It should be a very tight range which means this flop sucks for us especially 3 way. Only a Q maybe a clean out on this flop for us we have no backdoor suits but our V can have them It seems sick but folding the flop is fine--If we have a skill edge why take a high risk spot?

2 things about stats
your PFR % is a little low but ok if you are playing vs calling station in many spots on the table

Your V has high Vpip but low PFR so calling the river when a flush and AK hits and they lead into two players suggests they are nutted--Wilder players have higher PFR.

Spoiler yep nutted.

BTN is very weak so is UTG definitely larger preflop raises.

As you saw here both of your V had backdoor flush draws which is why we can over fold flops when we are drawing thin as we are here- again because of equity we can pick up in later hands vs weak players. No need to try to win pots in difficult spots vs weak players.

Preflop
Your 3-bet is to small. The purpose of a 3-bet is not to massage the pot larger but to put the opponent to a tough decision with big parts of their range.

Flop
I like checking here multiway with a gutshot and two overs. The board hits their range hard, and it sucks to get raised. As played an easy check-call especially when he bet so small.

Turn
As played definitely a check again and then make a decision, if BTN bet.

River
You make the nut straight, but a flush is also possible, which you dont block. Even so its definitely not a fold, but it also seems a little thin to raise, especially with another guy left to act behind you.

Spoiler
Kind of crazy, that BTN called on the flop with just a backdoor flushdraw and pretty much nothing else. You definitely lost the minimum by not raising the river, and this is not a long term profitable play for him, when he dont get full value on such a lucky runout like this. Being super results oriented a properly sized 3-bet preflop might have gotten this hand to fold, which has equity denial benefits.

Analyzing your poker database with trackers is one of the best ways to identify your own leaks, as well as study the tendencies of the player field and the leaks of your opponents. It is important to regularly analyze your statistics, as well as analyze key elements of the game through filters, trying to identify and correct weak points in your poker strategy in time. The algorithm for analyzing your own base is not always simple and obvious for the player. It is necessary to know which indicators are normal, as well as which filters to use to detail the reports.

That's okay considering that we own information on villain and most of our decisions are based and biased on villain's tendencies. Nice hand in spite of the result.
