SB is just a weak fish and I expect him to show up with lots of worse hands here.

BB is a 33/7/2.5 fishy player and I'm not sure what his raising range is for the flop, but considering he's almost guaranteed to get a call from the SB, I expect at least a pair (ie not AK/AQ).

I've been ~15/10/5 tag again.

Our line?

pokerstars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed)

BB ($49.80)
UTG ($25.05)
UTG+1 ($50.15)
Hero ($145.05)
MP2 ($49.75)
MP3 ($68)
CO ($31.90)
Button ($49.25)
SB ($5.30)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 7

SB isn't really a consideration in this hand considering his stack size.

BB does look like an overpair. I guess the question is, is he the type of player to stack with AA/KK/QQ? If he is you can raise this flop making it easier to get it in by the turn/river. Otherwise you can flat call and build the pot on the turn after he bets again. Letting him draw to two outs is a risk I'd be prepared to take.

Personally I flat call and let him lead again on the turn.

BB is weak and is representing a strong hand that a weak player most likely won't be able to get rid of. Start swelling the pot.

If SB had a decent stack there may be a case for calling to try and keep him in, and if BB was a little better we may want to call and disguise our hand in order to most likely make some more money from him on the turn, but as it is SB is either calling all-in or folding almost regardless of what we do and BB is apparently weak, so raise the flop imo.

make it at least $18, BB is probably too fishy to get away from an overpair here and he has one a lottt

As combu said, re raising to 18 looks good here, im not sure if villain will call however, but raising to that is only way of finding out, if he has an overpair he may well push and your in for a big pot. We may not get action though since his pre flop raise wasnt that big after a few limpers. So he may not be as strong as suspected, but raising to 18 seems good

Against a fishy player like that I'm thinking shove as well like dorkus suggested...

Is he the type who always bets when he hits anything really hard? Have you seen him slowplay anything?

He's probably still got TT-AA, although that isn't the best turn since it would have hit QQ, and it gives TT and KK straight outs/more straight outs. I kinda doubt most people with those stats would suddenly slow down with 99 or JJ.

Is he bad enough to make this move with J9-JA ? Maybe even just a draw (say TQ)?

If he's not on an overpair he's probably going to at least have straight outs but that doesn't scare us here with a set. The only hand I think he would likely have he'd check here that beats us is QQ though.

I shove, villain folds what I'm guessing was AJ, other villain shows down J8 and doesn't improve.
