Hi everyone, I was in the BB with a short stack of 200 $ with A, K off suit. The table was quite loose and UTG opens with 20 $. Three people calls, I went all in. UTG calls, shows pocket kings and I lose. Was it a really bad move to go all in?

With a 50bb stack and loads of dead money, shoving AK is the best play. Just didn't work out this time

In my opinion it is a good move, although it is not advisable to play this way, in the BB it is preferable to play high pairs, broadways suited or medium pairs with the intention of trips, with AKo I would limp or call to see the flop, because with only 10 players at the table, the variance is very small and normally a low pair has chances against unsuited broadways, so be careful with this type of hand.

That's why you need to shove so they fold their low pair or whatever else they have that can't call a shove

It's hard to say definitively whether going all-in with AK offsuit in that situation was a bad move without knowing more about the dynamics of the table and the specific players involved.
Based on the information you provided, it sounds like you were in a weak game with few chips. Real-time information suggests that AK offsuit is a strong starting hand, but it is not always a guaranteed winner, especially when the chips are small.
The fact that UTG opened with $20 and three people paid indicates that the table was really loose. This means that players were likely calling with a wider range of hands, making it more difficult to win with a hand like AK offsuit.
Ultimately, the decision to go all-in with AK offsuit in a short-stacked, weak game is a risky one. While it is possible to win with this hand, it is also possible to lose, as you did in this case.
It is important to remember that poker is a game of probability and risk. There is no guarantee of success and sometimes even strong hands can lose. The key is to make the best decision possible based on the information available at that time.

You hit full throttle very early here, went all in preflop with AK offsuite! It was a good idea to play this AK, but not good idea to go all in!
