$2/$4
Table Format
Full (8-10 seats)
Currency
Casino, Hold'em No Limit - €2/€4 - 9 players

englishlady (MP+1): €650 (163 bb)
richguy (LP): €2,000 (500 bb)
me (CO): €700 (175 bb)
looseguy (BB): €316 (79 bb)

Pre-Flop:
(€6) Hero (me) is CO with 6 7
3 players fold, englishlady (MP+1) raises to €20, richguy (LP) calls €20, me (CO) 3-bets to €80, 2 players fold, looseguy (BB) calls €76, englishlady (MP+1) calls €60, 1 fold

Flop: (€262) 3♣ 4 6 (3 players)
looseguy (BB) checks, englishlady (MP+1) bets €100, me (CO) calls €100, looseguy (BB) calls €100

Turn: (€562) A (3 players)
looseguy (BB) bets €136 (all-in), englishlady (MP+1) calls €136, me (CO) calls €136

River:
(€970) 6 (3 players, 1 all-in)
englishlady (MP+1) checks, me (CO) bets €200, englishlady (MP+1) folds (spoiler for hands)

In this hand, I have a nice suited connector and it goes 20-call before me. (There's only one other strong player at the table and they're not in this hand, so I'm playing against weak competition here.) I think this is a fantastic 3bet semi-bluff spot; I'm sure cold-calling this makes a profit, but I think 3betting makes more profit on average. I think there's a good chance I can pick up the pot right here (almost no 3betting on this table), and if I don't, englislady has shown that she can fold, and I also wouldn't mind playing a big pot heads-up in position while representing premium holdings.

... but instead, I get a 3-way pot because BB decides to cold-call, and BB is also pretty short-stacked. Then the Flop gives me a pair and a gutshot and should be bad for both opponents. I'd lead this for sure, but then Englishlady donks first -- now I don't see which better hand I'm getting to fold (this looks like an overpair, which probably won't fold), so I just call. On the Turn the Ace comes and looseguy goes all-in, which I don't like at all, but at this point I'm priced in. Then at the River I get one of my outs, so I bet, but it doesn't get called.

Overall this hand looked kinda silly since I just passively called down and won because I hit the flop better than my opponents, which was not exactly the plan with a hand like this. But I also don't know which street I would play differently in hindsight. Maybe shoving the Flop has merit?

Looseguy had the most WTF hand with Q7 and englishlady said she had pocket 9s.

Well I don't think you can be more aggressive post flip on flop or turn. They are close calls as it is, certainly not strong enough to raise. You should probably ditch your hand on the turn.

Once you hit the dream river you should be betting much bigger

When playing in exploit games with players taking this type of action you played this hand fine- You had outs post flop and hit them

I don't think folding the Turn is correct. I have 4 outs to the straight, 3 outs to two pair, and 2 outs to trips, for a total of 9 outs. The chance that one of these comes is 19%, whereas €136 is only 14% of the pot on the River. You could say that I'm not 100% sure I'll have the best hand if I get one of the outs, but neither is it 100% that I have the worst hand now. And then there are implied odds.

Ok fair point i forgot about the straight outs, though your outs are not that clean, e.g. you hit a 7 and A5 makes a straight, or you lose to a better 2 pair. But you straight outs and trips outs are fairly clean so at least 6 outs for 13% or so, so ok call is probably OK. You definitely are behind on the turn though!
