This was a casino hand that's formatted like an online hand because I already imported it into PokerTracker. The player I've named J is one of the sharks, capable of all the scary plays that good players tend to be capable of, though probably a little more honest/careful than GTO. However, I tend to take small stabs at multiway pots a lot (far less often if there's a strong player in the pot, but he doesn't know that), and he may have noticed this and decided to raise pretty wide.

Anyway, I played this very passively, and it sort of felt like with the run-out, I didn't have much of a choice to do it differently. Or did I? Maybe this should have been a re-raise on the Flop, given that I'm at the upper end of my range here?

Bottom 2 is not that strong when there are straights available and then when flush comes in on turn, as you say your hand is worthless. On the river it's a fold or raise (as bluff)

Yeah, I think River is the least interesting street here (except Preflop I guess); there's no way you call. Flop and maybe Turn may have more play though.

Seems fine to take a free flop with this hand.

Flop
Leading is fine in a limped pot. When you get check-raised, your hand is reduced to a bluff catcher, since no worse hand should ever be doing this for value. If he had AA, KK, AQ or KQ, he would likely have raised preflop. So you are either behind, or he has some kind of draw. KT, T8, QJ and Q9 are all hands, he could easily have and play like this.

Turn
Now the flushdraw complete and more better two pair combinations are possible, if he somehow has for instance AQ or AJ and played it like this. So your hand is definitely not strong enough to bet for value when checked to.

River
Now any K or 8 got there and hands like QT or AT as well. You definitely cant call, and if you raise, you are kind of saying, you have a flush but did not bet the turn, which is not the most credible story in the world. So I would also just give up and live to fight another day.
