I opened to 20 dollars under the gun with pocket 9s and get 4 callers, flops comes 6 5 2 with two spades, knowing this board isn’t going to get any better I bet out for 50 and everyone folds except the sb who thinks for a second then calls turn comes off the 10 of spades completing the flush draw and the small blind immediately rips into me for my stack he covers me I had about 150 left behind. I thought for a long time and ended up folding, he said good food but did not show the cards I am back and forth upon whether he had it or was holding a high spade and decided to test me.

It's hard to see exactly what has gone on here without more info on the villain but I'd guess a lot of live players are playing sets, As Tx and maybe 78s like this.

I wouldn't lose a second's sleep about folding BTW, maybe play more conservatively post flop multiway next time? (Smaller Cbet?)

OMG yes 10x, I thought you'd gone the standard 5 live.

Sounds like a great game to be in! I'd just tighten right up and just keep upping the open size to see how desperate to see a flop the villains really are.
How do they play against limps? Can you mine with all your spec hands?

No someone is always raising and I actually messed up the straddle was definitely on as it was much of the game but there were a few times my 15 dollar raise from 2 was called by 3 or more

By vastly overbetting 10 BB you become exploitable. By betting the same amount regardless of your holding and position your play - even if you don’t win the hand - is unexploitable. The overbet either just give you the blinds or takes a big chunk of your stack by better hands.

I wasn’t raising much but when I did I would get 3-4 callers at a raise to 15 no matter what i was playing with a lot of bigger stacks who would play much wider was just trying to get to enough of a size that I am not getting a harem of callers playing any 2 I can’t put a range on

I notice that it’s a full ring table. They are quite rare these days. At a shorthanded table I would raise 3BB by default. At a full ring table I’d raise 5BB.

Probably not but it depends how the SB plays, e.g. if he will flat all his offsuit broadways then he has plenty of potential bluffs and then if aggressive post then i think call is fine. Though in general against an u known fold is fine even if you had the 9 of spades.
